Membership and Visiting Program

Park memberships

Park memberships run for either 3, 6, 9, or 12 consecutive months from the time of sign-up.  You must visit the park at least once before deciding whether a membership is right for you and your dog.  Visitors are only allowed in when the office is open (see location & hours tab).  Please see the rate information below for visiting with your dog.  Visits are limited to three in a calendar year and then a membership is required for subsequent park usage.  Visit fees will be credited towards a new membership in the same calendar year.
Proof of current immunizations (rabies, bordetella, distemper/parvo) are required before dogs are allowed to enter the park and before membership and visitor applications can be processed.

We will continually assess the activities at the park to determine when to restrict new members and visitors so that we can retain a relaxed and uncrowded environment during peak usage times

Visitors

Individuals are welcome to visit the park from 10 am to 6 pm when the office is open.  The office is open every day except for Mondays and holidays.
When you arrive for your first visit, please leave your dog in your car while you come into the office to fill out the initial paperwork.  Plan on 10-15 minutes for this.  If you can’t leave your dog in the car (too hot or whatever reason), bring them in and we will deal with it.
Individuals who live in Kalamazoo County are limited to 3 visits during the calendar year; after that, membership will be required for entry.  Special arrangements can be made for frequent out-of-town guests with dogs.
Proof of the dog’s current vaccinations (rabies, distemper/parvo, bordetella) is required at the time of visit.  Visit cost:
  • Visitor with one dog – $15
  • Cost for each additional dog – $5
The visit fee is a “day pass” and allows the visitor and their dog(s) to visit as many times as they like on that day.  All visitors must be out of the park when the office closes for the day.
New members will be credited for visit fees accrued within the past year toward the membership balance.
Alternatively, visits can be made through our neighboring dog-friendly tavern, The Thirsty Hound.  Please see the Meadow Run Knoll tab for more information on this visit option.
All visitors and members have full access to the park, pond, dock, and agility equipment.
